World of Warcraft BlizzCon Twitch Drops Go Live With Mounts, Tender, and More
Azeroth’s BlizzCon Celebration Comes With Rewards
BlizzCon 2026 is underway, and World of Warcraft players can earn a collection of limited-time rewards simply by watching eligible streams during Blizzard’s biggest event of the year.
The World of Warcraft BlizzCon 2026 Twitch Drops campaign began September 12 at 9:30 a.m. PDT and will remain active through September 27 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, giving players more than two weeks to accumulate the required viewing time.
The rewards include 200 Trader’s Tender, a new Housing decoration, the Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt mount, and the Venomous Champion’s Illustrious Banner toy. Players can unlock the entire collection after accumulating 12 hours of eligible World of Warcraft viewing.
Blizzard is also offering a shorter reward window through the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel during BlizzCon weekend, giving viewers another way to unlock the same collection.
Two Hours Opens the Reward Track
The first reward arrives after two hours of eligible World of Warcraft viewing, granting players 200 Trader’s Tender.
Trader’s Tender serves as the currency for World of Warcraft’s Trading Post, where players can purchase rotating selections of mounts, pets, transmogrification appearances, toys, and other cosmetic rewards.
The BlizzCon campaign therefore provides players with additional flexibility rather than locking its first milestone behind a predetermined cosmetic.
Another two hours unlocks the Cuddly Blue Grrgle, a Housing decoration available after reaching four total hours of viewing.
The decoration connects the BlizzCon campaign with World of Warcraft’s expanding Housing system. After claiming the item, players can purchase additional copies from Dennia Silvertongue in Silvermoon City, Tuuran in Stormwind, and Gabbi in Orgrimmar.
A Flying Quilt Awaits at Eight Hours
The headline reward arrives after eight hours of accumulated viewing.
Players who reach the milestone receive the Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt mount, an appropriately unconventional addition to World of Warcraft’s enormous mount collection.
Rather than another dragon, mechanical construct, or traditional fantasy creature, the reward transforms a flying quilt into transportation across Azeroth.
The unusual design gives the BlizzCon campaign a particularly distinctive collectible and creates a major incentive for mount collectors to complete most of the viewing requirement.
The mount is available through both the eligible Twitch campaign and Blizzard’s official World of Warcraft YouTube broadcast window.
Twelve Hours Completes the Collection
Players willing to continue watching through the final milestone can earn the Venomous Champion’s Illustrious Banner toy after accumulating 12 hours of eligible World of Warcraft content.
The banner completes the four-stage reward track, bringing the total requirement for every BlizzCon World of Warcraft reward to 12 hours.
Viewing time does not need to be completed on a single Twitch channel. Players can move between eligible World of Warcraft streams without losing their accumulated progress.
Watching multiple Twitch channels simultaneously will not accelerate progress, however, preventing players from stacking several streams to complete the campaign faster.
YouTube operates differently. Players using that route must watch the official World of Warcraft channel during its eligible broadcast period.
Twitch Players Have Until September 27
The Twitch campaign offers considerably more flexibility than the BlizzCon weekend itself.
Eligible World of Warcraft Twitch streams award progress from September 12 at 9:30 a.m. PDT through September 27 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
YouTube viewers have a much shorter opportunity. Rewards can be earned through the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel beginning September 12 at 9:30 a.m. PDT and ending September 13 at 7:00 p.m. PDT.
That difference means players unable to accumulate the full 12 hours during BlizzCon weekend can continue progressing through participating Twitch streams for roughly two additional weeks.
The extended Twitch period should also make the Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt mount and other rewards considerably more accessible to players who cannot watch the convention live.
Account Connections Are Essential
Players planning to participate through Twitch need to ensure their Twitch and Battle.net accounts are properly connected.
After completing each viewing milestone, Twitch users must claim the corresponding reward through the stream or Twitch Drops Inventory. Blizzard notes that rewards can take up to 24 hours to appear in-game.
The first Battle.net region a player logs into after claiming the rewards will become the region where the items are delivered.
YouTube viewers instead need their Battle.net and YouTube accounts connected through YouTube’s Connected Apps system. Eligible rewards earned through YouTube are delivered automatically when the accounts are correctly linked.
Players using mobile devices can participate through the Twitch or YouTube applications on Android and iOS, in addition to PC and Mac web browsers. Console, smart TV, and other television versions of the Twitch and YouTube apps do not support earning the rewards.
BlizzCon Attendees Aren’t Left Behind
Players attending BlizzCon 2026 in person have their own route to the rewards.
Attendees can link their BlizzCon Pass to their Battle.net account no later than September 18, 2026, to qualify for the available rewards. Blizzard plans to distribute those rewards during the week of September 21 to eligible attendees.
The alternative ensures that players physically attending the convention are not required to spend hours watching streams while participating in the event itself.
BlizzCon’s World of Warcraft programming also extends well beyond the reward campaign, with major panels and esports competitions forming part of the livestreamed schedule.
BlizzCon Gives WoW Players a Reason to Keep Watching
The 2026 campaign turns BlizzCon viewing into a progression track of its own.
Players can begin with 200 Trader’s Tender after two hours, add the Cuddly Blue Grrgle decoration at four hours, secure the Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt mount at eight hours, and finish with the Venomous Champion’s Illustrious Banner after 12 hours.
The rewards are not available in World of Warcraft Classic and require an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time. The Cuddly Blue Grrgle also connects directly with Housing and requires access to World of Warcraft: Midnight for placement.
With the Twitch campaign remaining active through September 27, players have considerably longer than the BlizzCon weekend to complete the track.
For mount collectors in particular, eight hours of World of Warcraft streams now stands between them and one of Azeroth’s more unusual methods of transportation.
